4/11/2006 HARKIN ANNOUNCES RURAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDING FOR IOWA WASHINGTON, D.C. – As part of his continuing support for rural Iowa, Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) announced today that three communities will receive over $570,000 in grants and over $3.2 million in loans for rural development projects from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
